CRS 200: Business Planning & Marketing for Residential Specialists
September 10-11, 2008, 8:30am-5:00pm each day, 15hrs CE Approved

A strong foundation is the key to building a successful real estate career. This course will help you learn the fundamentals of business planning. After taking this course, you will be able to develop a business plan — which will include income goals and a budget — and create a marketing plan to meet your personal objectives. These business essentials will generate increased profit and productivity. (*A standard calculator will be needed in class. Please plan to bring your own.) Earn one-unit of elective credit toward the CRS Designation with these programs. Courses can be accessed at www.stcar.com under the Education tab.
- Creating Value for Your Clients — This course contains audio clips of how to conduct listing presentations, scripts for how to negotiate, sample documents from CRS members, and video stories from CRS instructors.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT CRS:
- CRS 200-level courses are the core courses needed to earn your CRS Designation. Click here to download the designation requirements PDF.
- The courses will be held at STCAR’s office in Eagan, just minutes south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America. Click here for a map as well as a list of nearby hotels.
- Students are required to sign-in each morning, so please arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. each day to give you enough time to get settled. A light breakfast will be provided. There will be a one-hour break for lunch. Click here for a list of nearby restaurants.
- As a courtesy to others, cell phones, laptops and all electronic/communication devices must be silenced or turned off during the program. There will be breaks throughout the day and during lunch when you can check messages.
- Because these courses have been approved for Minnesota real estate continuing education credit, if you miss more than 15 minutes of instruction throughout the two days, you will not receive CE credit for this course. This is a rule from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
